AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb who is already infamous for his 'Gaffes' like 'Mahabharat-Internet' theory now has ruined Tripura's image by further displaying his 'Dictator' style of ruling before other state's people who came as employee of Prashant Kishor's I-PAC team to take political ground report from the poll bound state Tripura. After 5 days of long harassment, house arrest, today the I-PAC team has appealed for bail and eminent Advocate Pijush Biswas has appeared on behalf of the I-PAC team in the Court. The team came to take ground reports from Tripura on the political temperament but by house arresting them, Biplab Deb Govt not only ruined the state's image but made it a national political issue. Now, Trinamool heavyweight leaders are in Tripura centering this incident as the PK's team had come to Tripura for Trinamool. The issue is not ending here but Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee is also arriving in the state tomorrow.
Tripura's Dictator-regime which is worse than Uttar Pradesh has been exposed with this I-PAC house arrest incident.
Trinamool Bengal Minister Bratya Basu said, "Such incidents never happened earlier in whole India".
Court has bailed all of them finding no ground to keep the persons under arrest.
Addressing the media, Congress President, Adv Pijush Biswas said, this arrest was illegal. He asked, how can police arrest the persons who had Covid negative reports in their hands ?
