AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Hit by Covid-19, Tripura has announced Weekend Curfew for the last 3 weeks in a row along with continuation of the ongoing restrictions.
The "Weekend Curfew" was imposed in Tripura after checking the serious condition of the Coronavirus pandemic in the state with the fresh blow of rising cases.
State Police have requested the people to obey Govt guidelines and Curfew rules as after all these are for their welfare.
On the other side, an economic crisis has hit the state and the middle class, poor are suffering heavily due to continuous curfew led economic tightness.
Recently the Central Govt team has visited Tripura to submit a report to Delhi on the increasing Covid cases.
