AGARTALA, July 17(TIWN): Young man was booked last night for cheating with many unemployed youths by collecting money in the guise of offering jobs. According to the details, a cheater named Suman Debnath, S/o- Suresh Debnath, resident of Bhattapukur, Nibedita area has been cheating with many unemployed youths by collecting huge amounts of money in the guise of giving govt jobs.The accused Suman collected Rs 10,000 from his friend, Dilip Sarkar(unemployed youth), residing at Badarghat area in March in the name of giving govt jobs within April months with verbal agreement that Dilip have to pay 4 lakhs after getting jobs. But after taking money the accused Suman has been playing hide and seek with his friend, Dilip and also was avoiding his Phone calls.
On Friday night deceived, Dilip caught the accused, Suman red handed while he came to collect money from other clients from the IGM area.
Meanwhile, the cheater, Suman, said before media that a woman, named Dipa Deb, an employee of Tripura University, resident of Barjala area told Suman, she can provide jobs and if he brings clients he will get commission from each client. He also added the woman, Dipa told him that due to lock down situation recruitment process has stopped and providing jobs is impossible in this situation despite collecting money.
Though the fraud, Suman admitted before media that he collected money from his friend, and several youths in the name of offering jobs.
The accused also said, once he had worked in GST on contractual basis but in this lock down situation he lost his jobs, which clarifies that in this crisis situation jobless unemployed youths are getting involved with such crimes to get rid from their poverty.
Later after beating the cheater, Suman, was handed over to the police of West PS. The deceived said a fraud case would be filed against the accused Suman Sarkar at the West PS.
