AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): The number of suicide cases in this COVID-19 pandemic situation is on rise and income less situation forcing people to take drastic steps.
Another suicide took place due to financial crisis and mental depression on Saturday at Champamura of Kamalasagar assembly constituency.
The deceased was identified as Raju Debnath, 30 years old, his hanging body was recovered from his house at Champamura. Raju’s family members first spotted him in hanging condition in his room.
According to family sources, Raju has been going through mental depression over financial crisis and quarreling with his family members.
After receiving news Police rushed to Raju’s house and recovered his body and took it to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The body of the deceased has been sent for an autopsy.
According to the initial investigation, the young man committed suicide due to mental depression.
