AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Policeman was caught red-handed for living with a woman illegally despite having a wife and children for the past 1 month. The incident took place in Gokul Nagar area under Bishalgarh sub-division.

The policeman has been identified as Nandulal Debbarma, was arrested from a rented house in Gokulnagar area, for living with another woman illegally despite having a wife and children. Nandadulal Debbarma is a Police constable working under Madhupur PS, it is known for the past 1 month the policeman has been rented in a house at Gokul Nagar area and his legal wife and family did not have any idea about it.

As soon as the incident came into light, the local people of the Gokulnagar area caught both the man and woman today morning from the rented house. On receiving news, Nandadula’s legal wife and the police of Madhupur PS rushed to the rented house and arrested Nandadulal including the woman from the spot. Sources said, the woman also has a husband and children.

However, on being asked, the police constable, Nandadulal said due to lockdown he is unable to marry the woman and he will marry the woman soon.

As soon as the news spread, local people of the area strongly condemning the shameful incident. Centering the incident local people of Gokulnagar area are whispering around themselves that how a law enforcer is being involved with illegal activity.
