AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): Director of  Family Welfare & Preventive Medicine Dr Radha Debbarma has confirmed that COVID tests will be mandatory for each passenger of Railways who are entering Tripura.Â
Already, the Air Flyers' COVID test has been made mandatory. The team mentioned, if people follow the Home Quarantine properly, then things will be definitely better.
Dr,Deep Debbarma, Nodal Officer Dr,Radha Debbarma, Director of Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine and Dr,Tapan Majumder, Microbiology Doctor jointly held a press conference with the surging numbers of COVID cases in the state. Decisions were taken following a meeting with the Principal Secretary
The Doctors' team also confirmed about increasing COVID positivity rates and the need of public corporations in COVID control.
Today's positivity rate is 166, which is a 0.5% hike than yesterday's rate.
