Metre Autos to be launched soon in Agartala, Per Km-10 rupees will be the Charges

AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Monday has announced that Tripura soon will have metre autos and per km it will charge 10 rupees.
The Minister said that Tripura Govt was ready foor metre autos before the ADC Poll but as suddenly election was announced it could not be started. However, now the metre autoss will be started soon.
500 metres were already ready and now the numbers have increased a lot.
He mentioned that with metre reading the driver will not stop for passengers again and again and as a result the passengers will not suffer.
"We are trying to launch 100% metre reading in Agartala..............", said Pranajit Singha Roy.
