AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): In an alarming situation, it has been informed that 5% passengers are COVID-19 positive.
"5% is a huge figure. We were testing the Maharashtra passengers and 5% of them are positive............", said the Airport authority.
Tripura Health Dept has set a rule that whoever is entering Tripura must have their COVID negative reports or they will be tested in the Airport. When testing started from today, 5% passengers were found positive, which is a matter of much concern.
Airport is only one transport whereas there are entries through checkpost, Railways, Roadways.
