AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): The patients who broke COVID Centre's window and escaped have managed to escape from Tripura, confirmed DM West Sailesh Yadav.
The District Magistrate also mentioned that the patients belong to Bihar (14 youths), Uttar Pradesh (7), Rajasthan (6), Madhya Pradesh (1) and West Bengal (1).
However, Sailesh Yadav then reminded public about night curfew and gathering restrictions which have been imposed from today and the guidelines which are already widely circulated should also be followed.
Maximum 100 persons may be allowed in marriage/ birthday & other social functions both in public or private place. Maximum 20 persons should be allowed in funeral last rites related gathering. Persons above the age of 65 are advised to remain indoors unless required to go for essential services. Any violation will be counted under action.
