AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): Illegal petrol sales is high in Tripura from North to South Tripura, but the authority has turned blind eyes to such crimes amid increasing rates of fuel throughout the nation.

Such a scenario was found beside national highway at Shekerkote area.

The seller has been identified as Rabi Das, whose house is near the Tahashildar office. Huge quantity of petrol has been in stock, sources said. 

Though he is making money illegally right beside the national highway, the authority is not taking any action against him. 

Earlier, TIWN published how illegal sales of fuel high at Rajbari area of Dharamagar but after publishing those news, journalist was attempted to be murdered by oil mafias and the business is still running without any disruption there.
