AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): A 3 years old girl child was raped in Belonia on 17th March in absence of her family members. But the victim’s family came to know about the incident on 18th March. Later, the victim girl’s family filed a case against the 13 year old accused boy at Belonia Women's PS on March 19.

The Police arrested the 13 year old minor boy on Friday night and brought him to the Police Station. Case No. 5/2021 under Section 376, 6 of the POSCO Act was registered against the rapist and he was taken to Juvenile Court on Saturday.

Centering such a heinous act an angst sparked among locals.
