AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): One drug-peddler was arrested by police from Chandrapur bus stand.

At first the bus driver understood that the man was carrying illegal items with him and he asked him to leave his bus. When he was leaving, the other workers of the bus stand caught him and called the police.

 Police arrested him and recovered drug stocks from him, and filed a specific case under NDPS. 

Around 5 KG of contraband items were seized.

The arrested person has been identified as Ganesh Marak, resident of Kamalpur.
