AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): Tripura Chief minister Biplab Deb on Monday while addressing in a Bank programme has claimed that under his Govt atleast 1 lakh of jobs were given.
He said among all those 1 lakh jobs, around 23,000 jobs are in Govt Depts either regular or outsourcing.
The same statement earlier also delivered by Biplab Deb but he faced massive criticism and opposition, media and also his own party MLAs raised question why CM is not giving details to prove his data on employment but till date, no data could be given by CM Biplab Deb.
When he claimed about job recruitment, statewide protest by jobless, unemployed persons are continuing and resentment is fueling high against the Govt for continuously cancelling the ongoing recruitments, abolishment of posts and terminations.
Tripura's unemployment rate is highest in Northeast and fourth in whole country.
