AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): CPI-M's youth wing DYFI, other wings as AIKS, TKMU held massive rally in Agartala in support of Farmers' protest at the national capital and its lined areas.

Addressing media, DYFI Secretary Nabarun Deb said, "Today whole world is witnessing how the Annadata of the country, the farmers who give food from President to Richest persons of the country, the Modi Govt has brought a dark law against the farmers interest. Modi Govt wants to benefit the capitalists but people have to voted Modi Govt for it. The farmers are dying amid protests, beaten. They were not allowed to enter the National Capital also to stage protest">

CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar said, "Modi Govt yet to give gree signal to the farmers' demands. One meeting of the farmers' representative was held with the Government but the meeting failed to meet any conclusion and on next date it is not sure whether their demands will be accepted or not. We demand that Govt must listen to the farmers plea and agree with their demands as after all Farmers give the whole country food to survive".
