AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): People of Bishalgarh are reeling in pathetic condition as the road in 7 no ward under Bishalgarh Municipality turned out hazardous after a little rain.

The road left without maintenance for a long time which has resulted this pathetic condition, alleged the locals.

This is the only connecting road between three gram-panchayats. A large number of people are depending on this single road for their daily necessities. But the condition of this road became pathetic after last few day's rain. Roads have been clogged with muds, vehicle wheelers are getting stucked into the large potholes. The road is not in a condition to even walk on, said the locals.

However, the concerned authorities are yet to look on this matter. The locals have alleged that after informing several times to the ward member, no action has been taken yet. The local people seeks immediate action on repairing the road to avoid their daily life problems causing by the 'mini-pond' on the road.
