AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Tripura University Unit Committee of Students' Federation of India on Thursday placed deputation to Tripura University VC with four demands.

Their main demand was to find an alternative mechanism for the final year students who have back papers in their previous semesters. As they couldn't have any physical or online classes for those papers due to pandemic, clearing back papers will be challenging for them. They also demanded to conduct for the distance education students who are still in first semester for more than a year.

The SFI also demanded to promote all the students in next semester. They also mentioned in their deputation letter not to take any examination free from the students.

While talking to media the representative said the the Vice Chancellor of the University responded positively and said he will look after the matter.
