AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): To ensure the safety majors during Covid pandemic, Sipahijala DM himself on Saturday came to Bishalgarh market to conduct drive against the high negligence of wearing mask among people.

Sipahijala DM Biswesari B, SDM, SDPO to other officials of Sipahijala district administration conducted this drive. They have fined people 200 rupees who were not wearing masks. They also have ordered to close few shops who weren't maintaining the protocol.

In this time of corona crisis, such negligence among people towards the health and hygiene can cause major damage, said the officials. Such drives are taken place in various parts of Tripura to spread the awareness and will be continued on regular basis, said DM.
