AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Tripura Central University has been reeling without proper administration since past two years. No examination was taken of the Distance students. On Saturday all India Student Association placed deputation to the Directorate of Distance Education regarding this inconvenience.

The University, which is considered as the highest educational institution in the state was running without a Vice Chancellor since past one and half year as the previous VC VL Dharurkar was forced to resign from his post after he was caught red-handed while taking bribe. Since then, the Central University of Tripura is reeling without a proper administration, which resulted increasing student's suffering.

The All India Student Association demanded to take proper classes and exams on time to prevent them from a year loss. Presently, the senior professor of Commerce in Manipur University, Ganga Prasad Prasain has taken the charges of the Vice Chancellor of the University. Now it is to see what changes he brings to improve the deplorable Tripura Central University.
