AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister’s comparison of Pig-Rearing with Teaching Profession has erupted massive resentment among the job aspirants of teaching profession in Tripura.
Although earlier, the Education Minister had claimed about 14,000 vacant posts in Education Dept but now unable to provide sufficient jobs to the aspirants which has already fueled resentment. Amid such situations, when Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has compared teaching profession with pig-rearing saying a new teacher only can earn Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 12,000 but by pig-rearing a person can earn Rs. 15,000. Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Thursday was seen in a viral video saying that a pig-owner people can earn more than a teacher.Netizens came with immediate reactions asking him to remove all institutions then. Nath said, “By a teaching profession a teacher initially will earn 7000 to 1000 rupees but by pig rearing, they can earn 15000”.
