Talking to media, Tripura High Court's senior advocate Purushottom Roy Barman said, "Tripura High Court took a case on public interest to know the reason behind the mismanagement of Tripura's health department and the reputed Government hospitals during this time of Covid pandemic. The High Court asked the government to show cause in detail regarding the allegation that are erupted against the management. Also, the division bench of high court wanted to know the reason behind the miscommunication between hospital authority and the patient parties, what are the measurements the state government is taking to control this situation, and how the state government is allocating the Covid-19 fund etc."

 

"As we all have noticed that in last few days the common people are severely suffering for the mismanagement of the health system of Tripura. Patients are loosing their life for the lack of treatment. Common people are afraid to go to the hospital. In such condition, I want to thank Tripura High Court for taking this initiative. This step of HC will hopefully lead the crippling condition of Tripura's health service to a better way." Said the advocate.
