AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): The workers of Akhaura Checkpost have sought payments which are being delayed for a long time.

While agitating, the workers said that they are in protest because for a long time, they are not getting their wages and every time it’s being delayed. Normally, they get payment weekly but today morning it was told them that they will not get their payments.

“We have Bandhan loans. We have to debt to purchase essential items for home but the manager here is not at all understanding our problems. Rather, the workers are given warning that those who have problems, they may leave jobs”, said an agitated worker.
