AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): Smaller than a barge, a boat sized water vessel has kicked off today in its maiden, experimental journey from Bangladesh’s Doudkandi to Sonamura.

This water project has been delayed many times but kept on crossing dead-lines.

Earlier CM Biplab Deb had promised that big ships will come in Tripura through Gomati river by 2018 ending and later it was said that barge may come and now the vessel looked just like a boat.
