AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): In a shift to safeguard critical patients, Health dept has decided to transfer the Agartala’s GB hospital’s surgery ward (of Trauma Centre) to the cancer hospital.

Talking to the patients, they have expressed satisfaction over the decision as COVID-19 spread was at much possibility at the surgery ward at GB.

GB hospital is the main treatment centre for COVID-19, where critical patients are sent. Tripura’s Coronavirus infection rate is reportedly at 21% as per various media reports.
