AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Congress to BJP turncoat Ratan lal turned himself not only a self-appointed de-facto Deputy CM but every Secretariat Press Meet or Independence Day programs, Ratan Lal elevated himself as face of BJP Govt. On Independence Day, Ratan Lal grabbed all programs from Secretariat to Gandhi Ghat without giving chance to any other Minister to inaugurate major programs. Ratan Lal's influence on CM Biplab Deb and subsequent domination in all public events not allowing other Ministers to come into limelight. On Independence Day, Biplab Deb & Ratan Lal grabbed all important programs, didn't even give Dy CM Jisjnu Debarman proper respect, so section of Govt Ministers are in heavy resentment.
As per the programme schedule at 7 am in the Secretariat Ratanlal Nath hoisted flag and delivered speech, received welcomes, salutes.
At 8 am, Ratanlal Nath garlanded Mahatma Gandhi’s statue.
At 8.15 am Ratanlal Nath offered tribute at the Gandhighat.
At 8.27 am Ratanlal Nath went to Post office Chowmuhani to attend the programme.
At 9.10 am Tripura CM hoisted flag at Assam Rifles ground.
Jishnu Debbarman and other Ministers were nowhere seen. In normal days also, both the heads are leaing all programmes and continue to damage Govt's image with irresponsible statements
While addressing media, both Biplab Deb and Ratanlal Nath released bundles of gaffes on the 74th I-Day and state missed out valuable statements from the Govt side on I-Day.
Whereas Ratanlal Nath thanked the freedom fighters for making him a Minister by freeing country, Tripura CM was busy in lies and propaganda about HIRA-Plus, later trolled in social media.
