AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Like every year, this year also, Independence Day was observed like auspicious rituals in Agartala Assam Rifles ground. It is the 74th Independence Day of India.

However, due to COVID-19, this year cultural programmes were cancelled and also it was conducted in limited time period.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb hoisted flag and the programme, in the presence of Police chief and other dignitaries.

In all subdivisions of Tripura, this Independence Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm. Various institutions, political parties too observed the day.
