AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): GB hospital’s COVID-Test led 3 days old infant’s death which was covered statewide form print to electronic media, remained unchecked by Tripura Govt yet, such impression has come out from Law Minister Ratanlal Nath who usually gives brief of the Govt issues of various depts. On 12th August, a 3 days old baby had died in COVID-19 ward and the family alleged that when the baby was attempted to be tested COVID-19 it died nosebleed. This news had been published by all media and it generated massive resentment among public. Now, when public are waiting to get a response from the State Govt on this unfortunate incident, on being asked by a journalist, Minister Nath instead of replying started bashing him for asking the question saying, “I am not the Health Minister, neither I keep interest in social media newsâ€.
The journalist was trying to tell him that apart social media, in print and electronic media also this news came, but Ratanlal Nath instead of replying continued to ask the journalist, “Do you 100% believe in social media ? If anyone tells you that I broke his car, will trust that ?” etc types of question and later said, he might give a response in evening press meet about this.
