AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Being under ‘hyper-sensitive’ Airport lists, Agartala MBB Airport’s security has been beefed up ahead of Independence Day.

An Airport official said, “Due to be a part of sensitive Airports, Agartala MBB Airport is under strict observation. Any suspicious person is being thoroughly verified and checked. If anyone is leaving bag inside the Airport, it is also checked”.

“Security personnel are on duty with high alerts, to ensure no suspicious movement there”, said the official.
