AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): Administrative team led by SDM Ashim Saha held sudden raids across Agartala city on Tuesday morning, to check hygiene, proper papers, important documents and licenses along with to see whether COVID19 Lockdown rules, Hygiene are followed properly or not. Many shops were temporarily sealed after non-hygiene situations were witnesses and needed documents could not be shown by the owners. Before today’s drive, SDM led many raids took place and businessmen were warned again and again. Earlier also, Task Force had made documents like license’s displaying in shops mandatory, but still many were found violating laws. Also guidelines were given to seal the food packets properly before these are sold out.Today, Govt team also raided markets of the Agartala city, busted illegal stocks. In a massive drive illegal stocks of commodities were busted by Food, Excise Dept today in Agartala. Also a through checking of the markets were done during the raid.
On Tuesday, the food inspectors and other officials have raided the market to check the authenticity of the essential commodity prices and quality.
The Food and Excise department officials said that such raids will be continued in different parts across the capital to check the quality of food and other stuffs in this period of world pandemic.
