AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): In a massive drive, illegal stocks of commodities were busted by Food, Excise Dept today in Agartala. Also faulty measuring machines were seized and shop-keepers involved in cheating people were brought under action.
Also a thorough checking of the markets were done during the raid which checked the commodity prices.
On Tuesday, the food inspectors and other officials have raided the market to check the authenticity of the essential commodity prices and quality.
The Food and Excise department officials said that such raids will be continued in different parts across the capital to check the quality of food and other stuffs in this period of world pandemic.
