AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Tripura Police did not permit the Trade Union’s protest which was to be conducted under “Bharat Bachao Divasâ€.
Due to COVID-19, no permission was allowed to the Trade Union.
However, Trade Union has raised question, why only in case of oppositions such steps are being taken, when on 5th August in the name of Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan, a section of people held bike rally, where were police then ?
It also asked, where were police when ahead of Eid minority families were attacked ?
A trade union leader further questioned, when national policies are modified amid COVID-19, how the people would object on them if permissions are not given for protest ?
