AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): In a massive fight within the own party cell, a group of BJP leaders have vandalized a BJP party office in Jolaibari. The frightened party workers said, “We are left in guardianless situation. A guardian should be there and we demand from State President Dr. Manik Saha that he must intervene in the inside politics here”. This incident took place at Debdaru of Jolaibari. Chatujoy Mog, District Member and Sankar Sarkar, Mandal Secretary were allegedly behind the attack. They also physically attacked the activists there, generated huge panic among the kariyakaryas. “They have vandalized the office, broke everything. They also belong to the area and Debadaru area falls under them only. We all are residents of this same area. Around 6 people are injured in this incident, now going to Doctor”, said a BJP’s Kariyakarta at there.

“The total Jolaibari BJP cell is Guarddianless. If there is any problem, then we don’t see anyone to complain. We beg Dr. Manik Saha that he must interfere in these matters and control the situation”, said a local activist.

Cases were lodged against these two leaders and those who were involved in the attack.
