AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Once again, Police have allegedly stopped CITU from protesting although the non-containment zones were announced with Unlock-Measures.
CITU was to protest with various issues with silent display of banners but police sent them back to the party office.
Ironically, the BJP has continued programmes in Tripura and in Rakhi festival also, in various places, gatherings were made.
As CITU has not gotten any permission from police today to protest, former Minister Manik Dey has slammed police’s biased roles, asking, why the BJP activists are allowed to protest.
