Reportedly, the 13 and 35 BN BSF with the help of Gomati police led by SDPO Dhruba Nath caught one silver coloured Tata zest car, number TR08 0709 in front of Bagma outpost. The car was coming from Sabroom's  Manu towards Agartala. After conducting the raid, police recovered huge amount of Bangladeshi Currency.

 

The person is identified as Ujjal Malla, who's a popular BJP leader in Sabroom. The amount of money is five lakh seventy-five thousands five hundred (575500)Rs. 

 

Addressing the media SDPO said, "We had this information from a secret sources about this illegally kept money. When they were crossing Bagma we stopped them and found the money. After asking, he couldn't give any justification about the money. However, police is investigating the case, soon we will know it's whereabouts."

 

Police arrested the person and also seized the money. The source of money and other informations will be disclosed after the investigation, said police.
