AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tripura Congress protested before the Gandhi statue at Circuit House on Friday condemning China supporting statement by Prime Minister Modi.Today nationwide Congress observed Saheed Salam Diwas.

Addressing media during the protest, Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas said that PM Modi’s China supporting statement which said that Chin did not enter Indian territory has maligned the image of India. That statement was used by China President Xi Jinping in his tweeter.

“We demand strong action against China and Prime Minister Modi must come out with facts as such China supporting statements can demoralize our soldiers”, said Pijush Biswas.
