AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Due to the spread of the virus, people from remote tribal areas became unemployed. Four (4) phases of lockdown in the state has finished, unlock 1 is going on now. So people from remote areas are slowly going to the market to earn by selling goods.
The tribes of the area are sitting with "Latkan" fruit to sell. But everyone comes and asked the price of "Latkan" fruit and left.
Sellers said that this Latkan fruit was collected from the Taidu area and brought to the Teliamura market for sale. A tribal woman sitting in the market confronted the media representatives and said that they buy “Latkan” for 15 rupees and sell it for 20 rupees. But at the present time, people come and ask the price of Latkan and leave. As a result, little earner people are facing huge losses.
