Bat house in College Tila : Locals demanded protection of bats and other animals

AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Bats have seen living in college tila area of Agartala over years. On being asked locals said that they are seeing the bats living here for more than 25-30 years. The area where these bats are living is a road side forest area and people claimed that they enjoy the scene.
While talking to media one woman said, 'The way we live and work has reduced the native wildlife of our land to such an extent that some species are near extinction and bats are one of them. We need to protect our wildlife for the sake of Global diversity."
She also said,"the way trees are been cut off these days will lead not only the bats but many other species loose their existence from the world. The government should take effective steps to protect the world life."
