AGARTALA, November 16 (TIWN): The country is on the same track after 68th years of independence because some political parties are playing dirty politics in the name of communalism, said Health minister Badal Choudhury while addressing in a blood donation camp organized by All Tripura Health Contractual Employees Association at Colonel Chowmuhani, here today.
The minister also informed that the GBP hospital blood bank will be upgraded soon. A part from it we are going to built three more zila hospitals and five more blood banks, he added.
Both BJP and Congress do not want important police reforms. One of the most important reasons why both these parties want police totally accountable to them rather than to the people is so that they can make use of money and muscle power during elections. BJP and Congress
The two parties are always with affluent businessmen and bureaucrats, but never work for the common people, he alleged. He said the UPA government had taken the nation to the point of no return and the BJP is also equally responsible for it as it tried to befool people with false commitment.
He dubbed the BJP’s politics as “communally motivated” and said, “There is no place for communalism in Tripura because people of all sections have been living in peace and harmony.” He urged the people to shun the BJP and continue their support to the “secular, democratic and pro-development politics” and policies of the Left Front government.
However fact is, due to massive corruption and embezzlements of funds by Manik Sarkar's Left Front Govt. from Hospitals to Schools in very bad condition, peoples sufferings continue.
