AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): 150th birth anniversary of Vladimir Lenin was observed by Communist Party of India (CPI-M) in Tripura.

At Melarmath party office, CPI-M paid tribute to Lenin in the presence of senior CPI-M leaders.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known by his alias Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924.
