AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has paid tribute to Dr B.R.Ambedkar on Tuesday marking Ambedkar’s 129th birth anniversary

Congress State President Pijush Biswas and other senior leaders remained preset on that occasion.

Pijush Biswas said, due to Corona-Virus this year the programme is minimized. He mentioned, today the backward class people have lost their voice whereas the constitution was written by Dr B R Ambedkar to empower the backward class.

“Today we have  to take oath to fight back Narendra Modi led Govt which is trying to suppress the constitutional rights and values. The aim which Dr BR Ambedkar had behind writing the constitution, today the whole meaning is attempted to be changed by the Modi Govt. To save the constitution the effort of common men will be the real tribute to Dr. B R Ambedkar”, said Biswas.
