AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): When statewide, Dr. B.R.Ambedkar is being remembered, CPI-M under Tafashili Jati Unnayan Samiti has paid tribute to Dr B R Ambedkar, the father of Indian constitution on his 129th birth anniversary.

Ex-CPI-M SC Welfare Minister MLA Ratan Bhowmik along with other CPI-M activists paid tribute to Dr B R Ambedkar at Agartala.

The Marxists also took oath to continue the democratic culture of India and to fight back religion based politics.

CPI-M is also observing the day as “Sanghati Diswas”. 

This year, no gathering was observed due to COVID19 Lockdown and social distancing were being maintained.
