AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): Total 7 doctors including an ENT Doctor who engaged in the treatment of the COVID-19+ patient before she was tested positive have sent to quarantine.

All of them are in facilitated quarantine in Gitanjali Guest House, said Law Minister Ratanlal Nath.

State Govt has formed an isolated section for higher risk persons in Gitanjali guest house.

Till now, 1 patient of COVID-19 was screened positive in Tripura who is having a travel history in Guwahati.

It has been suspected that the person was most likely infected long back on 18^th or 19^th March while she was travelling from Guwahati to Tripura and now in the last stage and stable.
