Agartala, April 7 (TIWN): State Govt Officials across Tripura have undertaken dedicated initiatives to help the needy people in national lockdown.
Today CM’s OSD Sanjay Mishra alongwith other Govt officials took initiatives to help people in Banamalipur. Rice, Dal, Oil, Salt & Vegetables were distributed near Ram Thakur Asram area in Banamalipur.
In a tweet Mishra said, “Together we all are ensuring that no one will sleep hungry”.
In Tripura, various NGOs, organizations are working on field to help the needy people as lockdown has snatched lakhs of people’s livelihood temporarily. Above 6 crores were donated in CM’s relief fund. The lockdown was necessitated due to massive COVID-19 outbreak globally, affecting whole India. In Tripura till now, 1 positive case was found.
