CITU to hoist women led Jail-Bharo movement

AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): CPI-affiliated CITU and various rights bodies will organise a 'Jail Bharo' (court arrest) protest in Agartala on Friday against the "anti-worker" policies of the Narendra Modi government and various demands for women including recognition to mid-day-meal, Asha workers.
The rally basically to be lead by women of the state.
Members of various organisations will take out a march from Melarmath party office in Agartala, CPI-M leader Panchali Bhattacharjee told reporters today.
"The 'Jail Bharo' agitation will be held in various states and it is a national level programme," she said.
Increasing crime against women to be protested, whereas Panchali Bhattacharjee said that like Unnao case, all women should get justice.
