AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): North Tripura Police have seized huge numbers of yaba tablets and 3 persons were arrested so far.
Police interrogation continues to bust the contraband smuggling network, said a ource.
Getting information by sources, Police along with CID cell raided the train between Silchar to Agarata. The raid took place on Wednesday at around 12.30 pm led by SP Bhanupada Chakraborty.
Churaibari PS OC-Jayanta Das was present at the Nadiapur Station and on appropriate time after raided 3 were arrested.
Total 20,000 yaba tablets were seized, 400 sleeping tablets, cough syrup were too seized.
The arrested persons are : Kajal Mia (19) resident of Sonamura, Kurshed Mia (29), resident of Sonamura, Pranesh Pal (39), resident of Agartala Jagharimura.
Police are interrogating the arrestees at the Churaibari PS.
