AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s quarter has been elevated into 9 star level and that was the only development happened in last 2 years of BJP rule, such has been alleged by Congress leader Gopal Roy when BJP was celebrating “Mukti Diwas” on competition of 2 years of BJP’s victory.

“Biplab Deb is a parachute Chief Minister who flied suddenly from Delhi but what have he done in the name of Nesha Mukt Tripura is seen across. 196 liquor shops are given licenses and shops are seen kept open till late night”, Roy said.

“Govt employees DAs are pending. Finance Minister accepting fact of fund crisis and the Chief Minister is traveling Delhi. 13 times he visited Delhi ! Where did the funds go ? Only development is seen in CM’s quarter at 9 Star level”, said Gopal Roy.

Earlier, various allegations came in Tripura against CM’s luxurious lifestyle adaptation at the cost of tax payers moneys. The quarter was furnished 10 times more after former CM Manik Sarkar left the quarter.

On the contrary, Manik Sarkar and his wife lead a simple life and Manik Sarkar’s wife Panchali Bhattacharjee, a retired Govt employees till today walks on feet and rides rickshaw, sits in public, an unique example of “simple living, high thinking”.
