NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): On being asked by media, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that he is not going to hold any portfolio for now, neither he held portfolios earlier also, because to him it is very important for a Chief Ministry to monitor on all departments and lots of works are naturally there on the CM.
Kejriwal was addressing media after meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Kejriwal said that it is also important that State and Centre must keep a good relation, otherwise it becomes tough to manage.
On the contrary, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb is holding various departments, got involved in alleged scams, sacked Sudip Barman from Ministry after Barman raised question on law and order followed by a Doctor was beaten in state and now Health Dept came under corruptions, scrapping of Free Medical Services.
Total 27 departments is holding by CM holding at least and it might be more, said an opposition leader.
