AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Feb 18 (TIWN): BJP MLA Sudip Barman has called for humanitarian gesture from the Govt side while evicting shops on road-side in the Agartala city, as a process towards SMART City.
AMC Commissioner Sailesh Kumar Yadav said that this time enough time will be given to the people and locals are also cooperating in that area.
Today’s drive took place in Sudip Barman’s constituency reportedly.
Barman said, it has been seen, the Govt didn’t spare even 6 inch land and that should not be the attitude.
He has called for a cooperation between Govt and public, with proper compensation should be given to the affected people.
“Let the road be done but we would think about their (public) sidesalso. The locals are ready to cooperate and from Govt side also, let’s be cooperative. Works are going in the correct direction”, said Barman.
