AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Soon after CPI-M’s indigenous wing Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) called a massive rally at Agartala against CAA, Royal scion Pradyot Manikya too has called for a bike rally under TIPRA organization in a sudden announcement at Khumulwng, which might affect GMP’s gathering in Agartala.

Last time also, Pradyot Manikya called a rally in January month, which was also on the same date of CPI-M’s rally which was however not held as CPI-M cancelled the programme seeing the law and order problems created by regional parties protest and clashes followed by internet shutdown.

Although nothing as “counter” was announced by TIPRA, but analysis suggests that the sudden rally announcement was to affect the GMP’s rally amid CPI-M’s losing support in ADC due to various extreme sentimental politics.
