AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Under BJP rule, lawnessness victimized uncountable innocents in death trap by violent mob but without pause, one more person was killed by mob in Sonamura in allegation of cattle smuggler.
The victim is 29 years old and resident of Sonamura, under Seaphijala District.
A violent group of mob attacked him and beaten to death. Getting informed police hospitalized him immediately but Doctors declared him as dead.
Against two persons, the victim’s father lodged FIR, so far, no arrest was reported.
So far no strict rule against lynching introduced in India.
Nevertheless, Centre will look into the issue of whether there is a need for making amendments to Indian Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code to deal with cases of mob lynchings across the country. Government informed the Rajya Sabha on December 4, 2019 that letters have been written by the Home Ministry to all state governments and union territories inviting their suggestions on this issue.
