AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): High Court has directed Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) to complete the cancelled/paused recruitment within next 3 months. High Court in division bench upheld previous single bench's decision and has directed TPSC to complete the process.
Via TPSC, victim TCS job aspirant Samudra Debbarma who completed written tests and was victimized by Govt's decision, had filed petition in High Court and judgement twice went in his favour. Today's verdict has ushered hope for all victims who are multi-thousands in numbers and thus may appeal in High Court for justice including many police job aspirants and other departments. Petitioner Samudra Debbarma was preparing for his viva test after qualifying previous tests needed before viva. The whole examination process which started in 2016 was hampered when State Govt in 2018 announced a ‘New Recruitment Policy’ on 5-6-2018 and then 20-8-2018 Govt cancelled all exams including TCS, TPS. Then candidate Samudra Debbarma filed petition (No-831/2018) and in the single bench on 14-5-2019 the judgement was given which also asked TPSC to complete the interview process.
